There are many ways to save money on your construction project.
The most bang for your buck is to have the right budget from the start. The right budget will have costs broken out, not just a lump sum. One of the reasons for the breakout is for ability to track costs during the design phase of the project. Once the budget is set it is very important to track the costs so you can identify any areas that costs may be raising. If you have skimped on the original budget and have just done a simple lump sum budget, you have lost your ability to spot cost saving items.
